Abstract


New paradigm in medical education caused exchange of medical education curriculum from conventional to competencebased curriculum. One methode of comptetence based curriculum implementation is Problem Based Learning (PBL).PBL was implemented in medicine faculty of Riau University (FK UR) since 2007. This research aim was to knowstudens opinion of PBL program in FK UR. This research was non experimental quantitative analytic using questionnaireto all student of year 2007 ( 100 students).The result showed that most of the student give positive opinion on 78,3% PBL was socialized but 72% opinion ofstudents did’nt have good understanding of PBL.
